Scope

Nuclear Photonics is rapidly evolving being driven by worldwide development of ultrahigh intensity lasers and brilliant quasi–monochromatic gamma beam systems. Nuclear Photonics 2025 will bring together leading scientists from around the world who are conducting research in the development and use of ultrahigh intensity lasers and gamma beam systems in nuclear physics and applications. The conference scientific program aims at interdisciplinary discussions and exchange of ideas that stimulate collaborations.

The topics at the Nuclear Photonics 2025 will include:

  • Fundamental photon-related nuclear science and spectroscopy
  • Laser–plasma nuclear physics
  • High intensity laser–plasma interaction and targetry
  • Nuclear medicine including radiography and radiotherapy
  • Industrial non-destructive material imaging and evaluation
  • Isotope-specific, nuclear materials detection and management
  • Photon-based generation of pulsed particle beams and their applications
  • Particle-laser colliders and related accelerator science
  • Nuclear resonances
  • Photon-related nuclear astrophysics and cosmology
  • Strong field QED

The scientific program of Nuclear Photonics 2025 will consist of four types of presentations:

  • Keynote presentations
  • Invited talks (selected from the submitted abstract)
  • Contributed oral presentations (selected from the submitted abstract)
  • Poster presentations (selected from the submitted abstracts)
The poster presentation session will be held during the second evening of the conference. Refreshments will be served during the session. Posters presented by students will be reviewed by judges for the “Best Poster” awards.

Excursions will be offered. Detailed information will follow soon.
